| Description: | The Czech Republic’s accession to the EU is subject to the fulfilment of a number of conditions and criteria. One of them is the creation of adequate conditions in the area of occupational safety and health (OSH) and the working environment, comparable to the conditions in EU countries. In addition to the harmonization of Czech legislation with EU legislation dealing with the issue of occupational safety, it is also necessary to deal with its implementation in practice. Based on the experience of European countries, there is an increasing need to address this area not only by imposing legal requirements that are enforceable under the threat of sanctions, but rather to create adequate conditions to meet these requirements by employees of companies on the basis of their voluntary (not enforced) approach. |
