Subjective quality of working life index (SQWLi)

Subjective quality of working life index (SQWLi)

The application was developed within the project of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic Proměny kvality pracovního života, which was jointly attended to in 2014 – 2015 by the Occupational Safety Research Institute and the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The project followed up on many years of previous cooperation, during which a standardized tool for long-term monitoring of the quality of working life in the Czech Republic was developed.

About the application

This application will serve you to find out information about the quality of working life in the Czech Republic. It consists of two parts.

In the first one you can learn, first of all, whether people in our country consider their work to be good or bad and which aspects of working life are more important to them and which less. All of this can be viewed on a set of all working people, but also in more detail on smaller sub-set that you choose. The information is based on a nationwide representative survey of Czech workers in 2014.

In the second part you can use a short questionnaire to find out the quality of your own working life and then compare it with other workers in the Czech Republic or with people in a similar position to you.

Both parts are based on data obtained by a representative questionnaire survey of Czech workers and using a standardized research tool: Indicator of subjective quality of working life.
