Description: | Certain aspects are characteristic for the current period, which in their consequences lead to the need to create an updated proposal of the OSH policy in the Czech Republic, respecting modern trends and knowledge. Two aspects are key, in terms of their relevance to the current state of knowledge, namely the time horizon of the OSH policy in the Czech Republic as a document and the dynamics of change in areas affecting OSH. The current era is also characterised by many changes and the increasing speed of these changes. Some of these are created by external conditions, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts, or climate change and the associated growing threats from hydro-meteorological, resource and other sources, while others are created by a changing society and its values, such as digitisation and Industry 4. 0, changes in labour relations, greater emphasis on gender balance and minorities, intolerance of violence and harassment at work, greater emphasis on the prevention of accidents and serious occupational diseases (e.g. cancer), generally less tolerance of risks and effort to improve quality of life at work - decent work. The aim of the research task is to prepare an update of the OSH policy. |
