Description:No project or systemic solution on the topic of demographic changes in the labour market with emphasis on national and international road freight transport has been developed in the Czech environment so far, not even in relation to the factors of measurement of microclimatic parameters, local muscle load or exposure to excessive noise and vibration. The project reflects the need to prepare Czech employers for the issue of demographic change, which is currently a largely neglected factor of work and working conditions. The project also aims at a conceptual shift in terms of measures to minimise these impacts on the labour market and at appropriate risk management for workers in national and international road freight transport. In the context of demographic change, employees need to be treated on the basis of the findings of risk assessments, regardless of age, to enable them to remain in employment for as long as possible and in the best possible physical and mental condition. The project aims to deepen and improve the qualifications of employees and their further training with the direct participation of employers and employees in the field of OSH in order to prolong their employment in the labour market. Their ability to work appropriately with risks will be improved and their knowledge and skills will match trends in the evolving labour market.
