Popis: | This article reports on the regional differences in subjectively perceived quality of working life – measured using the Subjective Quality of Working Life index – in the Czech Republic. Using survey responses from 2,026 workers from 2020, representative of the working population, we show that variance in quality of working life is lower than in objective measures of social and economic development. At the same time, both importance and evaluation of the quality of working life domains are linked to macroeconomic characteristics, specifically unemployment and average gross wage. |
